Hi, Everyone
     Well it’s happening. I you’ve been reading your emails from us then you know that my retirement sale is under way. It’s with great sadness that I came to this point. At least we will have a chance to see many of you before we go!

Quilt Side:
Fabric, $8 a yard (from the bolt, minimum one yard cut) That's a little more than 35% off yardage retailing for $12.95!! Makes things easier at the register for us and is a bonus for you.
Fat quarters $2 each
Items already on sale, as marked—no additional discount given

Bead Side:
Everything 50% off

     Our hours this week will be:
        Monday March 14 through Saturday March 19th
             9:00 am to 4:00 pm (note the time change)
       Closed on Sunday March 20th while the parking lot is being resurfaced.

    We will put out another email blast for next week’s hours--you can always check our website for up-to-date information. As soon as I let Mary know what’s going on she will post it on our home page.
    Now, on a happy note, my fabulous staff had a Farewell to Monica’s party for me—well, all of us, really--on Saturday. Many of my old employees and teachers came. We had a lovely evening at Mary’s home, laughing and reminiscing. And eating, of course!
    I even got calls from Susie and Rose Mary who couldn’t be there. They gave me an overwhelming number of lovely cards which had me in tears most of the evening.

    Hey--one of our resident artists came up with a whimsical portrait quilt for me to hang in my studio and the entire staff signed tags that are tied along the bottom of it. She even collaged images cut from the party's paper napkins. Hmmm, now which of my "girls" does whacky stuff like that? I'll bet some of you who have taken classes from her can guess...but she made it clear the gift is from all of them. I've even got purple hair! My fave color. A time crunch kept her from blinging it up a bit with hot fix crystals, so Theresa Hanada is taking care of that. A priceless gift.
    I also want to thank all of you wonderful customers who have been sending me what I call “love letter” emails and calling me to let me know you care. I truly appreciate all the well wishes.
