Holiday Sale & Party December 11!

Hello, everyone!
I can’t believe that the holiday season is upon us. Time is just flying! My time with all of you as the owner of Monica’s Quilt and Bead Creations is coming to an end soon. While I look forward to retiring, there are so many things about being in the middle of the quilt world that I will miss—especially our customers!
Our annual Holiday Party and Sale is this Saturday, December 11. Beginning at 10 o’clock when the shop opens you’ll get 20% off your purchases (with some restrictions.) I’ll be there first thing in the morning to draw the names of our two gift certificate winners for the Bra and Underwear Drive. I can’t thank everyone enough for all the bras, underwear and socks that I have received. I know that the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission will be very happy with your donations. Some of our wonderful customers haven even shipped items to us—I’ve been getting things in the mail every week! You all are a true blessing. And I thank you. It’s not too late to bring in any type of underwear for any size, shape or gender to help some folks in need. Bring them in through closing on Friday (4:30pm.) We’ll give you one ticket for the drawing for each item you donate—2 winners will each receive a $100 gift certificate to Monica’s.
In the bead room we have restocked the Delicas and the seed beads for the very last time. So, if you have favorite colors, I hope you stock up on them. Come in soon for the best selection.
And yes, we still have fabric coming in. It’s hard to stop! After all, I am a fabric-holic just like all the rest of you quilters out there. Read What’s New below to check out a cool "food" fabric line and a new Christmas throw quilt kit.
Road to California tickets should be arriving within the next week or two and will be on sale at the shop. These are not discounted but will save you time in line at the convention center. Remember, they are CASH ONLY! The money goes directly to the show organizers. We will keep you posted when we receive them.

Read on to see What's Happening and What's New--come see us soon!

As always, happy quilting and beading to all of you.

Classes, Classes, Classes!

On The Bead Side

Theresa and Rose Mary are teaching limited classes in person at the shop. Here's how it works: to schedule with Rose Mary, give the shop a call. Theresa's classes are from 10 to 1 most Tuesdays and Thursdays. Class dates are listed on the website. The first 3 students to register on a given day determine what will be taught. There are links to Theresa's catalogs of 1 and 2 session classes below and on the website class pages. Theresa will contact you by phone to confirm your choice, talk about supplies, answer questions and schedule other sessions, if needed.
