Hello, everyone.
After having an absolute blast in Idaho we are getting ready to leave for Reno sometime this week--we'll be visiting Patric’s best friend from grammar school. We are practicing retirement. Lol! I’m so lucky to still have my wonderful mom and all my brothers and sisters. It’s a long drive—but SO worth it. Plus, I love to drive, so, there you go.
Meanwhile, back at the shop.....
My fabulous staff reported that the first weekend of the Bead Hop was wonderful. Everyone was so happy to be out and about. Our beautiful earring kits have been a huge hit—don’t worry--we still have kits left for you hoppers coming in this week. As a bonus, they are on the web site, too. You can pre-order for pick up, or of course, if don’t get to come see us we’ll ship them to you.
We have four different kits for this project ranging from $8 to $10 depending on which color you choose: Faceted Turquoise, Coffee Agate, Cloudy Quartz or Mystic Matrix Quartz. These swingy earrings are lightweight and measure about 3.5" long x 1.5" wide. We are doing it a little differently this year—you won’t actually make your earrings in the store. Instead, there is a video you can view at home to make these super simple earrings. The kits are available on the website as well as in the store.

Make-it-at-Home Earring Kits

Lots of great deals during the hop--grab bags of crystals, findings and other goodies, plus all pendants are 30% off!

You'll get this charm bracelet at your 3rd shop....

...and a charm at each shop along the way

Second, please, please, please pre-register for the hop. It will save time for everyone. Just click here to register, see all the prizes you could win and get your map to the shops. If you forget to register ahead of time, you can scan a code at your first shop to make it easy.
We are also giving away gifts with purchase during the Hop. If you spend $25 or more, you receive two darling charms (a bird nest & some birds on a wire,) spend $50 or more and you receive the charms plus a great 8.5” x 7” Treasure Mat from Beadsmith, and if you spend over $100 you get the charms plus the mat AND a travel light (3 settings & folds into it's base.) Purchases must be on one transaction and only one of each gift per customer during the event, while supplies last.
And yes, we are almost ready for the Reindeer Dash coming up October 7-9. We are busy packaging our fat quarters and block pattern for you, plus making up new samples of holiday patterns to share with you during the run. We love the Noel line from Lewis and Irene. Of course, we have the best print…..This is the 15th anniversary of the Dash so we made up some fabulous anniversary bags--they will be for sale during the run.
You still have time to purchase our new Mystery Quilt, Barbara's Antiques. The Mystery will be available to purchase online only through September 30 and is just $12. No kits this time—this quilt is fat-quarter friendly! Use up some of those beauties you've been saving. This is a Speed Mystery--we will email instructions every day for 3 days. When you purchase your mystery, you'll get a digital download with a welcome video and your supply list. Now, get out those fat quarters and bundles so you will be ready to roll the first week of October. As always, I’ll have a YouTube video for you to watch once the pattern is available to get you ready for your Fat Quarter Speed Mystery Quilt.
Speaking of Mystery Quilts, don't forget about the kits we have left from our 2021 mystery quilt retreats. We have sold over half of them. You can see those that are left below in What's New.
Read on to see more of the treasures we have for you. And if you are ready for an in-person beading class, check out the Theresa's projects in the Classes section.
Happy quilting and beading, everyone--I hope to see you soon.
