Hello from Quilt Reno, everyone!
The newsletter is short and sweet this week--I drove up here for the first quilt show of the season--and the first one since the world was hit by the devastating virus in 2020. The show started today (Thursday) and runs through Saturday so if you are in the area, be sure to come see me.
"My girls" are holding down the fort while I'm gone. We unpacked lots of great Christmas fabrics last week. Nothing gets me in the mood to start planning for family holiday celebrations like "oohing and ahhing" over stunning new fabrics. And a couple of new notions came in that I know you will love. Check them out in What's New below. While you're there, pick up the flyer for the upcoming Southern California Quilters Run--someone is going to win that sewing machine and the gift baskets. Maybe it will be you!
Don't forget to check out the Zoom classes Theresa is offering. She's got dates up for the next couple of months. It’s fun to take a class in your own workspace!
Happy quilting and beading, everyone--I hope to see you soon!

We practice social distancing and other state/local guidelines to keep each other safe in the shop. Sanitize your hands at one of the stations we've set up as you enter the store, wear a face mask and stay six feet away from others. Thank you!

magnetic pin cup
Magnetic Pin Cup
This clever design has a screw on lid that fits onto the weighted base when in use. The magnet holds the points down so you don't get poked, and closing the lid keeps curious pets and other wee creatures safe! Several different colors.
Smoke fabric

Smoke from Moda--10 bolts of fabric influenced by Native American culture and design. We still have some of the Jelly Rolls and Fat Eighth packets we shared with you last week, too.
Several Christmas and winter-themed fabric collections came in last week. Here are a few examples to get you in the holiday decorating and gift-making mood.
Festive plaids are all the rage this year--many have touches of silver or gold.
