mystery quilt

Hello, everyone!
Wow! It sure seems like summer has arrived with temperatures in the high 90’s—but I know it’s only Spring and I’m hoping for some more cool weather before we get hit with steady high temps.
Last week was super exciting in the store with box after box arriving from all of our fabric vendors. We opened some of the Kaffe Fassett fabrics live on our Facebook page—in fact, we made two videos! If you missed them, click here to watch. And take a look at What’s New below to see some of the prints close-up. With all the new things coming in and hot weather heading this way, it would be worth the trip to see us—so, gather up the pieces of things you’re working on and get out here while the selection is good, the prices are so “last year” and before it gets too darn hot.
Thank you to all who are joining us on the Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner table runner mystery. I’m loving the samples I’m making and can’t wait to actually use them on my table at home. For those of you who did not purchase a kit, the yardage requirements will be included in our first email on Friday, April 9th. BUT since you are reading this newsletter, ding, ding, ding! Click here to get the supply list early so you can start pulling from your stash. Yup—the Mystery starts this Friday and you will receive steps every three days. If you don’t get the cutting instructions on Friday PLEASE email me: monicasqbc@aol.com. I will send them to you that morning after checking my emails. We’re not sure why but some servers won’t let it go through. Not to worry-- it’s no problem and we don’t mind sending them to you—the steps just won’t be in your mailbox by 12:01 am.
What else is going on in the shop? We’ve got some terrific new patterns that are fat quarter, strip and precut square friendly. Evelia rearranged our zipper area after a big order came in. It’s now much easier to find just what you need for your garments and bags. Oh! And a cool panel came in that makes a nice red, white and blue tote. You can see everything in What’s New below.
We have good stock on mask making supplies, a wonderful selection of fat quarters (including the new Kaffe Fassets) and lots of kits on clearance--you can see many of them and more goodies here: What's on Sale? Sale items are limited to stock on hand, so grab these deals while you can.
And, if you are ready to take a class via Zoom, check out what Theresa is offering.

Happy quilting and beading, everyone--I hope to see you soon!

We practice social distancing and other state/local guidelines to keep each other safe in the shop. Sanitize your hands at one of the stations we've set up as you enter the store, wear a face mask and stay six feet away from others. Thank you!
