Happy Wednesday, everyone!
     I’m so glad that things are finally starting to open back up. We are still being careful as more and more of us are vaccinated. Thank you all for helping to keep each other safe and healthy. The shop is busy on both sides--I hope we’ve turned the corner with this health crisis.
     I love hearing from so many of you who joined us for our first online mystery, Quilting at the Hideout. It’s really fun to see all the pictures and the darling emails. I’m so glad you all enjoyed it! We want to see your quilts!! Remember to send photos of your finished tops/quilts to Mary so she can put them up on the new web page we are adding to the site. It's called Monica’s Mystery Quilts Revealed and is currently "under construction." Send them to her at: info@monicasquiltandbeadcreations.com.
      By the way, if you missed the chance to hang out with us in the Hideout, you can still purchase the pattern as a digital download. You'll be able print it out and have your own private mystery—or grab some friends and do it together. Just don’t share your pattern--follow the copyright laws (and respect the pattern designer) by purchasing your own copy. The pattern will be available until June 1.
     Since so many of you asked if we would do another one, I figured we might as well jump right in. Besides, I really need a table runner for everyday use—remember, it’s all about ME! Lol. So, we are ready to roll with Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, a 20” x 45 ½” table runner. This mystery only needs 3 fabrics and our kits include fabric for top, binding AND backing! We are doing kits a little differently this time so that we can get them cut and out to you faster. When you go to the product page, you’ll see photos of all the kits we have available. Each has a name and can be ordered using the drop down menu. There are only 5 to 7 of each one so if you see something you like, don’t wait to order.
     Many of us have lots of tools we’ve purchased for one project or another—I was happy that I got to use my Tri-Recs Triangle Tool for this mystery. It made cutting and piecing so much easier. If you don’t have one, it’s on the website—and it’s 10% off! You can see it in What’s New below.
    You can order the Mystery through April 8th—we will send out our first email on April 9th and send steps (there are 6) every 3 days. That seemed to work well for everyone. I’ve already decided these will make great gifts and am starting my list. The pattern is fast, easy and looks great. I say, get your holiday gifts done early!
     This Thursday at 9:30 am, Theresa will be talking about her Zoom classes for our live Facebook event. She’s really hooked on making all kinds of bags and has lots of tips to share—you can see what she’s teaching in Classes below. If there isn’t a link to a class in this newsletter, Mary is still working to get it onto the website--check back in a day or two. (I keep throwing more and more stuff at her—I hope she still has a minute or two to quilt once in awhile…)

   There are some new notions, the pattern books I shared last week on Facebook and fabulous fabrics to see in What's New. Besides what we're sharing, we also received at least 20 bolts of batiks and some more tone on tone whites. Come on in and see us!
