mystery quilt
Purchase now through February 25

Good morning!
Hope everyone here is enjoying the weather. It’s absolutely gorgeous outside. Whenever I can I take a break from sewing just to sit in my backyard and catch some sunshine. It feels so good. For all of you who are in cold weather, my heart goes out to you. Stay warm and know that we’re thinking about you. We do miss all of our snowbirds that weren’t able to join us this year. But hopefully things are turning around and with more and more people getting vaccinated, everyone seems a little calmer as they come into the store. We’re beginning to see more and more people every day. And, again, we thank you so much for your support.
I have been ordering fabrics as if I own the world! Our sales reps have been coming in again and it looks like we will be getting new shipments daily. The warehouses are working as hard as they can to fill orders. They have been backed up because shipments are not getting to them. But things are finally starting to move and it looks like we’ll be getting more and more of the things we ordered a year ago in the weeks to come.
Of course that means I have to make room for all that new fabric. If you know me, you now hard it is to let go of pretty fabric, but, sometimes it just has to be done. Since we didn't get to vend at any quilt shows this year, I do have quite a lot of stock on kits and panels that would normally have flown out. So, I'm putting our Red Rock Reflections kits, panels and yardage on sale at 40% off this week. This is a beautiful Southwest collection--pottery, home collage and cactus. Check out What's Happening below for links to all the Items of the Week in our Flash Sale
On the bead side, we have restocked all the Delicas and the seed beads again. Now I’m working on findings and replenishing basic stock items.
The Mystery Quilt is doing even better than I’d hoped. The kits have all been mailed out as of today (Tuesday) and we’re going to send out the first email on Wednesday with the fabric requirements (for those of you who did not get a kit) plus a welcome video. That way you’ll all be ready to go on Friday when you get your cutting instructions. I simply can’t wait! I might even have a little surprise for you in Friday’s email.... We make up quilts ahead of time to see how the fabrics will look. That also helps us decide where to place fabrics in the kits. Hopefully all the kits will work out beautifully. We do our very best to make this work! And, it’s such a fun pattern that I just keep making more of them! If you've been thinking about joining in, you have until February 25. After that, times up! You'll have to wait for the next mystery. I’ll be you can’t wait to see what I’m gonna come up with next—right?
I've been thinking about some of the projects I want to make and remembered how much fun it is to make yo-yos. I mean it! Use up my scraps, keep my hands busy in the evening. And they are really cute! So, we've added some more of those cute Yo-Yo Accents patterns to the website plus some of the dishtowels we carry. Oh--plus that darling Ocean Frolics quilt pattern....and, of course, the Cover Quick Yo-Yo Makers. Take a look at What's New Below to see what I'm talking about.
The Spring fling is just around the corner. I hope to see all of you week after next for this fun mini quilt run. We want to keep everyone safe, so please practice social distancing in my store. Masks are required and everyone is to hit the hand sanitizing stations at either door as you enter. As always, I will be in our classroom to welcome you so just wash your hands and come on back!
Happy quilting and beading, everyone--Hope to see you soon.

We practice social distancing and other state/local guidelines to keep each other safe in the shop. Sanitize your hands at one of the stations we've set up as you enter the store, wear a face mask and stay six feet away from others. Thank you!
