Our online store has new items and many of your favorite patterns, notions, kits and more! We're adding things every week so check back often
Here's a link to our on-line shop.

Well, this week is a typical slow summer week...I hope everyone enjoyed my wonderful granddaughter last Friday on our live Facebook page. I thought she was perfect! Right on cue (lol.) If you missed seeing Reiley in action, click here to enjoy a pint size tour of the shop.
If you’ve been calling the shop and couldn’t get through, we are very sorry for the inconvenience. They are ringing again and we are open. You can always email general questions and web issues to Mary through the web mail (info@monicasquiltandbead.com) or specific questions to me (monicsqbc@aol.com) or, for Retreat issues, use desertquiltingreatreatspd@gmail.com.
Theresa Hanada has been having a bit of trouble with her oxygen so Rosemary stepped up to the plate and hosted our Tuesday morning live Facebook. On Friday I will be showing you all our of new holiday quilts and kits. We look forward to Theresa getting back on her feet. Ro see Rose Mary's live event, click here. She shared some easy and fun ways to keep your mask handy when you aren't wearing it using beads and our new “stoppers” for adjusting the fit. Stoppers are available in the shop and, by Wednesday evening, will be in our web store, too.
It has been so weird for me, not being at a hotel for 4 weekends in a row. Like I said, it’s the first time in 22 years! But it has been nice staying home, quilting and being with my grandkids. Patric took off for a week to backpack up in Mammoth so I had a quite week.
Evelia and I are working hard getting ready for Jelly Roll Day, September 19. We ordered lots of rolls and lots of patterns for 2 ½” wide strips. From September 15th thru the 19th we will be showing you strip ideas on our Facebook page every morning at 9:30 and will have specials during the month of September on these items. I Will work with Mary on that next week. She’s already started putting rolls up on the website—take a look below for more info and links to see them on the website. We’re trying to think of fun things for everyone to do while we’re all still at home.
Rose Mary has a new pattern —watch this video on Facebook as she introduces you to the process for making her zippered project bag with a vinyl window. The clear vinyl and Clover Wonder Clips and pattern are on the website. See it here: Project Bag and Board pattern
Remember, we have some Zoom classes! Theresa Hanada is offering three bag classes. Click on these class titles to check them out: Big Zipper Bag, Mondo Bag, Have To Have It Bag. Classes will be the same quality you have come to expect from our teachers--why not give it a whirl?

Happy quilting and beading, everyone. We can't wait to see you!

-Monica
