Hi, everyone. Hope you are all are safe and healthy. Happy Fourth of July!
The shop is buzzing with excitement. We’ve been cleaning the back room and are finding lots of things that we forgot about. Letti is amazing--I can actually find things in the storeroom!
Evelia has put together our gift basket for the Quilt Run. Of course, our $300 worth of goodies are in a cauldron—what else would you expect to win at a Halloween Party? After the Fourth of July we will re-decorate our classroom to get ready for the Run. Please check the website (Southern California Quilt Run) for all the participating stores. Hope to see you there. (Ummm....I overdid the Halloween again. What else is new!)
Again, I want to thank all the Retreat goers for your quick responses so that other people can get in if they choose. As I get more info from the hotel I will let you all know what they will require and what our workroom will look like. Thanks again for your patience.
Wanda has been working on Saturdays and cleaning up the bead room. I also had a zoom meeting with the bead shops in Southern California and we’re working on an event for September. Stay tuned for more on that. I’ll let you know as soon as we work out the details. It doesn’t look like it will be a hop—more like a customer appreciation event. Support your local bead store!
We FINALLY got a shipment of solid black fabric. The fabric warehouses were emptied out by companies making masks! I snagged 8 bolts of Black Magic--grab it while you can.
Be sure to join us for our live Facebook Events. The next one will be Tuesday, July 7th at 9:30 a.m.
appy quilting and beading, everyone. We can't wait to see you!

ghantis ghastlie
The creative folks at Alexander Henry have this to say about their new Ghantis Ghastlie print: Ghastlie Lake is a large body of water on the west end of Widows Peak, the Ghastlie family manse. Young merman Ghantis and a gossip of marvelous mer-creatures make their way to the shores to admire their unrivaled reflections while they sing the most Ghastlie of siren songs.
Gorgeous, watercolor style artwork creates a batik effect on this Canabis print
