Our online store has new items and many of your favorite patterns, notions, kits and more! We're adding things every week so check back often
Here's a link to our on-line shop.

Hi, everyone. Hope you are all are safe and healthy.
Patric and I are up in Mammoth for a few days doing a little hiking. I will be back in the store on Thursday, refreshed and ready to rock and roll.
I want to start with a big shout out to all my Retreat goers. Thank you so much for the quick responses. I appreciate that very much. We are able to start placing people from Retreat 1 into some of the slots that are opening and retreats 2, 3 and 4. After that, we will start calling those of you on the wait list. If you decided to have us send you a kit instead of attending in person, we will send six or seven pictures of the style you requested—let us know which one you choose. This also must be done in a timely fashion. I’m looking at the last week of July for kits to be chosen so that we can get them out to you. Please continue to hold tight. Thank you for your patience.
The shop is still receiving boxes and boxes of fabric. Halloween and Christmas have been coming in—take a look in What’s Happening below for a peek. It’s never too early to start on those holiday gifts! My friend Kaye and I have been making lots of quilt samples and Evelia and Letti (and their daughters!) have been kitting them as fast as they can. As soon as a kit is ready, Mary pops them into our online shop. You can see those, below, too. Again, I want to thank all of my customers that have been ordering on the web—locals are ordering for pick up, too! You have no idea how much I appreciate it. For retreat questions, please email me directly: monicasqbc@aol.com. For information about hotel safety and cleanliness, click here.
For those of you who still want to send a card or note to Susie, you have until June 30 to get them to me, please. I would like to send a big envelope full of cards on July 1. Thank you.
The Sew Party on the Run is still on! Please check the website (Southern California Quilt Run) for all the participating stores. The spider blockdates are: July 16th thru July 19th and July 23rd thru July 26th. The hours have been adjusted just a little; Thursday – Saturday from 9 am to 6pm and on Sunday from 10 am to 4pm. Here is our spider block--runners will all get the pattern. Isn't it cool?

Be sure to join us for our live Facebook Events. On Friday morning at 9:30, Theresa Hanada will be sharing her tips to create a cell phone clutch. We feature something different each week--if you see something you like, it's in the shop AND in our web store (usually the day you see it, sometimes a day or two later depending on whether I've remembered to tell Mary!)
