Here's a link to our on-line shop.

Good morning, everyone! I hope and pray everyone is safe and healthy.

The weather has turned hot, not warm. Somehow--we skipped right over the warm weather and jumped into the desert furnace.

Lots of stuff is going on here at the shop and I cannot stress enough how much you all mean to me and my store. Your show of support has been overwhelming. Some days I go home and cry because of all the nice things so many of you have said and done for me. Thank you! And yes, I am a  Survivor. (I was told this by two people in one day.) But it’s not only me here--it’s my son Miguel, Evelia and all my wonderful staff—several are working behind the scenes and almost every day someone comes by to check on me!
Our annual Mother's Day sale is this weekend--new this year, we've created coupon codes for you to use when making purchases through our website! Here's the scoop:

mother's day sale

When ordering on line during the sale dates, use the code momday10 if your total is at least $50 to get 10% off, momday15 if your total is at least $75 to get 15% off, or momday20 if your total is at least $100 to get 20% off. Make sure you enter the right code--if you purchase $100 dollars of goodies but enter momday10, you will only get 10% off.

We have new hours for the month of May: Monday thru Saturday from 10-3.  If you can, please call for an appointment and let us know you are coming.  We can’t have too many people in the store at once and would hate for you to have to wait outside or in your car. If you come to the shop, you MUST wear a mask, use the hand sanitizer on the counter and be mindful of social distancing.

So many of us are making masks. If you have time, here are a few ways you can help:

  1. I have been asked by a group who is sewing masks for the medical field if anyone has any old thread to donate. If so, please bring it by the store.
  2. One of our customers needs to sew 1,500 masks for Coachella Valley Foster Kids.  If you are interested in helping please email
  3. The Coachella Valley Rescue Mission needs food, clothing, toiletries and masks—they especially appreciate masks for larger faces.

On Tuesday and Thursday mornings we do a live Facebook event at 10:00. Go to Monica's Quilt and Bead Creations on Facebook to see all of our live events.

For now, happy quilting and beading, everyone. We miss you!
