Monica's Message
A Message from Monica

Good morning, all!
Wow--I slept in my own bed for a week! It felt great. I love these little breaks in our out-of-town show schedule.
The Spring Fling Quilt Run was amazing. Everyone loved, loved, loved the fabric line this year. In What’s New below you can see Rose Mary’s new Aloha Doll Dress pattern using the line. Shop owners met yesterday to draw the winning passports. The big winners are:
Claudia M Millan, the Baby Lock machine; Joan McSwenny, 21 yards of fabric; and Dausha Samarin won my store gift certificate
We kept the display of purse samples for sale in our classroom for all of you interested in a pre-made handbag. We have retired these samples and they are great buys—you are just paying for the materials, not the labor.
This coming Saturday I am speaking at the Coachella Valley Quilt Guild meeting--hope to see you all there.
The printed version of our newsletter for April thru July is due from the printer soon. You can see and download the pdf version by clicking here. All the classes are on the site and registration is open. Speaking of classes, you can download a copy of supply lists for each sewing/quilting class from our website, too. It's important that you come to classes ready to roll--some of them need a little prep so that we can make the best use of class time.

Happy quilting and beading, everyone. Hope to see you soon.
