The first treasures from Tucson, new batiks, kits and more

Monica's Message
A Message from Monica

seed bead saleHi, Everyone.
Well the Road Warrior has returned, beaten bad. LOL. I got home from the Tucson Gem Show Wednesday night totally worn out and went right to bed. I didn’t get up until Friday morning! I simply couldn’t shake the cold I caught back at Road to California. But, I’m back--with lots of great stuff for all you beaders. I found beautiful, good quality laboradorite, amethyst, coral, and turquoise. I also found two ply waxed linen for many of Desi’s classes in great colors--I had to order it so we will have it in a couple of weeks. Read this weekly message to find out when it’s in and to see all the treasures I found for you. We’ll share whatever we’ve priced and put out in the shop floor each week. Take a look at What's New below to see the first things out. Oh! And, remember I told you awhile back that we have new seed bead colors coming? We had to make room, so check out our seed bead sale table--the beed tubes in these bins are 50% off!! Get them while they last--after that, they are gone, gone, gone.
While on the road I was releasing fabrics for shipment to the shop right and left. Wait ‘til you see what you can do to the new Hoffman Peter Pan panel with the "chenille" method! We are putting kits together this week and will share next week. We also finally got back the giant Christmas panel from Moda. I know it’s early to start thinking about the holidays, but they come around faster than we think! Those can be "chenilled" too. We’ve got the scissors to make that happen—too much fun. In case you want to see the panel again, I'll show it to you next week.
Our cork is flying out the door. I would love to see what you all are making from it. Please send us pictures and let us know how you like it. The prints we carry have been painted by an artist in Portugal and applied to the cork. Stunning!
As you know, I have an amazing staff that keeps the shop going while I am running around the country. They've already gotten the shop ready for the Spring Fling coming up in March. I hope to see you all there.
The Beginning Ribbon Embroidery class is sold out for both days—if you are interested, do call and we’ll put you on the waiting list. Because of the class, remember that the Monday groups will NOT meet on March 2. Dessie finished these new leather bracelet samples—call the shop to take either one as a class.
