Road to California starts Thursday!

Monica's Message
A Message from Monica

Good morning!
Wow! If you missed the Yard Sale on Saturday you missed a great opportunity. It was our best ever. BUT next year I am going to start at 9:00 am instead of 8:00. It was so cold outside. I traditionally start at 8:00 because the sale was always held the second Saturday of the month and I wanted our guild members to be able to come. So let’s hope we can do it on the third Saturday again next year--it always depends on the show schedule. We still have some 5 Yard rolls for $30.00  left and the rest of the closeout seed beads will be put out after the Game Day Sale.
I head out to Road to California on Tuesday to start setting up our booth. My whole staff and my wonderful sample makers worked extra hard this year. If you’re going to Road make sure you stop by to see us—we'll have lots of new things that aren’t in the shop yet. Miguel, Natasha (my youngest daughter) and Evelia will be working in our booth this year. My daughter Maria can’t work ‘cause of my gorgeous granddaughter, Reiley, but they will be at the show on Sunday! Can’t wait to show her off!
The shop is filling up again with lots of new stuff and our classes are in full swing. Here's a Pearl and Crystal Cascade necklace that Patricia's student/Stephany Farwell made last week. Ooh la la!

If you are thinking about taking a class, we have hundreds to choose from--really! We offer classes every day of the week and some evenings on both sides of the shop. Whether you want to get started with basic skill classes, learn to design your own jewelry or art quilts or anything in between, we have something for you. Take a look at Classes below to see more classes coming up this quarter. A couple of classes in the next few days have room for you or need another student for it to "go."

What's Happening
Road to California

Thursday, January 23 through Sunday, January 26 at the Ontario Convention Center. Visit us in booths 202/204/303/305--you'll see us when entering the exhibit hall through the main entrance.

What's New

Lots of things come into the store each week--some new, some returning. We can't share everything, but here are some of our favorites.

glue stick

We now carry Roxanne's Glue Stick--it's an odorless, acid-free, non-toxic permanent bond for your projects. Plus it's water soluble in case glue gets where you don't want it! We also have Roxanne Basting Glue for a temporary bond.

The Magical Thread Easy is back in stock. Thread needles easily with both a magnifier and LED light. It works with all popular needle sizes. Great for hand-held threading or use on the tabletop.
