Quilt Run continues this Thursday, a new earring pattern from Rose Mary and more

Monica's Message
A Message from Monica

patriotic stripesHi, Everyone!
Well! Let me tell all of you something--if you don’t do the Quilt Run this year you are really missing out. According to our customers it’s the best year ever. Everyone was having a great time during the first weekend--runners meeting up with other runners from the years before, friends and family spending time together seeing all the new stuff the shops had to offer. With so few shops in the run it was nice to see the love and support from all the customers who were running. I truly appreciate each and every one of you taking the time to come out and support me. Yes, I know it’s hot and I’m far BUT we are worth it!
Everyone loved my gift basket in the giant coffee cup, the little mugs around the bottom and the beautiful wire tea cup on top. I had so much fun getting ready for the quilt run. And my block was a HUGE hit. I think almost everyone bought the kits we put together for our block--we had to make more kits on Monday to get ready for this weekend.
Take a look below at some photos of the room we set up for runners—Halloween kits and our new portable ironing surfaces, Laura Heine's Cacti Collage quilt--we have kits! More desert items--Chicks and Hens pattern, a wonderful garden trellis kit, etc., and we gathered all of our coffee, hot drink and quilt run fabrics in one place for you--plus SO MUCH more! When you come to the shop, I’ll greet you in our classroom to stamp your passport, demonstrate some things for you and point out more of the great kits and products we are featuring.

Just because we are having a quilt run doesn't mean we've haven't forgotten you on the bead side! I told you that Emily has been reorganizing all of our findings. As she moves things around, she's been finding treasures--some of them are ending up in the sale area so make sure you look at that every time you come in. Plus, look at these beautiful hand made dichroic glass bead caps she found. They were glass bead capshiding--now you'll find them on the counter near the bead register.
And, up above you'll see Rose Mary's newest earring pattern, Patriotic Stripes, a "tribute to our armed forces and local law enforcement who put their lives on the line for us each and every day." It's available for purchase now and she is offering it as a class. Soon to be released, League of Nations--wear your heritage on your ears with earrings in the colors of international flags.
Check out What's New below to see some of the fabrics we put out on the floor last week. Remember, no Sit-n-Sew, Beading Babes or classes until the run is over. See you after July 21st.
Read on to see what's new. We hope to see you soon.

What's New

Lots of things come into the store each week--some new, some returning. We can't share everything, but here are some of our favorites.

Rare flowers grow on prickly cacti and spiny succulents in the Desert Blooms collection by Maude Asbury for Blend Fabrics. We also have this print with a neutral background.
Magic is in the air in the Snow Fun collection by Cori Dantini. Frosty days, wintry walks and whimsical snowmen come together with festive checks in a traditional palette of green, red and blue to create the perfect fabric collection for all your holiday decor.  snow fun
ghastlie pastoral One of your favorite Ghastlies prints is back in stock in both color palettes: Deadly Mauve (shown) and Potion Blue.

Also from Alexander Henry, these Cool Cats come in pink or blue.
