A Message from Monica

fox quiltHi, Everyone!
The show in Colorado was great--it was nice to meet so many new quilters and to see some familiar face. Miguel and I are back and finally home for the summer! I can’t believe it. Feels so good to stay home.
Don't you just love Jean's quilt? It's Laura Heine's Frieda pattern and she made it for her mom (who loves foxes--lucky mama!)
The Southern California Quilters Run starts next Thursday and I can hardly wait! Our block is so cute. There are lots of wonderful prizes and it's just plain fun to visit the shops. I hope you have it on your calendar. We are changing all the quilts hanging up in the shop with the new quilts we’ve been making. We’ll have lots and lots of new kits for all you runners.
Since I take over the classroom during the run, there will be no classes from July 10th thru the 22nd.
Preparations for our fabulous Desert Quilting Retreats are well under way with most kits pulled for weeks one and two. We still a few spots left as people have to drop out--call the shop for more information if you’re interested I joining the fun.
Remember that we are closed tomorrow for the Independence Day. Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.
Emily has been working like crazy to make it easier for you to find your favorite findings...find your findings sounds weird--but that's what she's doing! We have new display racks and she's putting all the clasps in one place and organizing all over the bead side. It will take awhile but we know you will love the new look.
Check out What's New below to see some of the beads and products we put out on the floor last week.
Monica's will be closed on the 4th of July. Happy Independence Day!
Read on to see what's new and to see some of the classes coming up. We hope to see you soon.
-Monica
