A Message from Monica

Good morning and Happy New Year!
Boy, do I love being home. It’s so nice to get up, water the plants, feed my baby tortoises (my big guys are hibernating) and simply enjoy my home. I love it.
It’s also nice just hanging out at the shop and chatting with all my wonderful customers! I appreciate each and every one of you. I hope you are planning to come to our big Annual Yard Sale on Saturday, January 12th. The sale starts at 8:00 am sharp and is over by 10:00 am. We’ll be ready for you in the alley at the back of the store--the store will be closed--just walk around behind the building and grab some bargains. There are great deals on fabric, patterns and the sample quilts we are retiring. This weekend I started rolling the small remnants we save all year into those famous rolls everyone loves to buy. Remember, it’s cash only! (Sorry beaders--there’s not much for you at the sale.)
I am also getting ready for Road to California. As I mentioned, Carol and her husband Jim from Aunties Too patterns are flying out again to demo all her new patterns from quilt market. We’ve been on the phone with each other and our suppliers making sure we are well stocked in everything she will be showing you. Please stop by and see what’s new.
If you need tickets to the show and want to save some time, pick up your multi-day tickets at the shop. They are $16, cash only, good every day (wrist band) and we'll have them until we leave to set up our booth or until we run out. Same price as at the show, but no line!half cuff with button
On the bead side we've been busy restocking--last week we put out sterling silver wire in gauges 16 to 24. And those great silver tone polished metal half cuffs are back in stock. We have them in two sizes to fit thick or thin leather.
Remember, we have great classes every day of the week. Click here for the 1st Quarter 2019 newsletter and here to see all of our classes. Below are the new classes scheduled for next quarter (plus a few we haven't offered in awhile)--just click on photo/title for more information. We offer over 100 classes every quarter on both sides of the store! From beginner to expert, from traditional to contemporary--we have something for everyone. Remember, sign up early--we have to cancel classes that don't meet the minimum enrollment a week ahead. And we hate it when you are disappointed. Take a look at Classes below to learn more about our classes.
