Website Update:  You're looking at our website on our new hosting server. The major change is a monthly calendar (look under Classes/Newsletter at left). By clicking on a class you'll be taken to that instructor's webpage. But we're still updating things. For example, you may notice that we need to get some pictures taken for some of our classes. And we have some class descriptions that need prices and skill levels added. But we're getting there and hope you like what we're doing!
 
Note: One glitch in our new hosting server is that visitors to our site do not have the option to open a .pdf file (such as the newsletter) in their web browser when they click the file. To work around this, please save the file to a folder on your local computer and then open it using the Adobe Reader client. We don't know when this feature will be fixed, but will make it available to you as soon as it is.

We are a complete quilting and beading store, drawing people from all around North America. Located in the heart of the desert floor between Palm Springs and La Quinta, California, our nearly four thousand square foot store is a destination for quilters and beaders in search of unique and fabulous fabrics, beads, education and inspiration. Whether you are a traditionalist or like to push the envelope with your quilting and beading skills, we have something for you.

Over 5000 bolts of 100% cotton fabric, quilting notions, patterns, books, walls of gemstones, pearls and Czech glass beads, racks of Miyuki seed beads, Delicas and findings--plus jewelry making tools and display cases of pendants and specialty beads fill the store.
 
A fine quilter and beader in her own right, owner Monica Gonzales
joyously shares the limelight with her talented staff. Each staff member has unique skills in quilting, beading or both -- ranging from piecing, applique and hand or machine quilting to stringing, bead-weaving, wirework, chain making and more.
 
Whether you're a full time or seasonal Coachella Valley resident or a weekend visitor, you'll find yourself at home at Monica's Quilt and Bead Creations.
